Identification
Blackish brown frons, narrow yellowish face, reddish above antenna, petiolate abdomen,
2nd and 3rd terga narrowly and weakly reddish laterally, leading edge of the wing brown and dm cell brown on at least apical one-third,
crossvein r-m beyond level of Sc apex and dark brown tibiae (Vockeroth, J.R. 1992).
Length: 6.8-11.3 mm (Vockeroth 1992)
Biology
Larvae of Ocyptamus fuscipennis feed on aphid Aphis spiraecola in Florida (Miller 1929)
Distribution
Eastern Canada, South to Colorado, Texas and Florida (Vockeroth, J.R. 1992).
